Security Notice – information on critical vulnerabilities, Meltdown and Spectre, affecting CPU processors

Summary:

Recently disclosed critical vulnerabilities, Meltdown and Spectre, are affecting Intel,AMD, ARM and other modern processors. CVE-2017-5753 and CVE-2017-5715 are related to vulnerability Meltdown.CVE-2017-5754 is related to vulnerability Spectre.

These vulnerabilities are caused by CPU design flaw, allowing local user to access memory of other application processes or operating system processes. Dahua has initiated technical analysis and product screening. We will follow up on the development of this issue and provide update when more information is available.
