Dahua Technology and Permaconn have announced a strategic partnership to integrate Permaconn's trusted alarm signalling network with the Dahua AirShield wireless alarm platform, delivering a simplified and professionally managed connectivity solution for security installers and monitoring centres across ANZ.
About the Partnership
Dahua has selected Permaconn as its connectivity partner for the AirShield wireless alarm hub, integrating Permaconn's ISO 27001-certified signalling network directly into the product. Roll-out has already begun with select distributors, with every new AirShield hub shipping with two Permaconn SecureLink SIMs included in the box, pre-configured to the Permaconn Network and ready to activate.
For security installers and monitoring centres across Australia and New Zealand, this means faster, simpler commissioning with no additional hardware, no extra receivers, and no compatibility headaches.
By combining Dahua's AirShield intrusion alarm platform with Permaconn's industry-leading alarm communications infrastructure, the solution delivers seamless connectivity and simplified deployment for installers and end users alike.
Dahua AirShield series intrusion alarm products adopt advanced RF communication technology to achieve wireless installation, stable connection and long battery life. Through Dahua Cloud services, software tools are provided to installers, monitoring centres and end users, making product configuration and management simple and efficient. The system is also deeply integrated with Dahua CCTV and Intercom solutions, enabling enhanced system linkage, improving operational efficiency and delivering a more seamless user experience.
What’s in the Box
Each Dahua AirShield will now include a SIM Kit containing two Permaconn SecureLink SIMs. These SIMs arrive pre-configured with Permaconn’s network settings so installers simply insert and activate. No APN configuration. No third-party SIM sourcing. No delays on site.

Key Combined Benefits for Installers and Monitoring Centres
■ Ready out of the box: SecureLink SIMs are pre-configured to the Permaconn Network and included with every AirShield hub, reducing setup time and simplifying commissioning.
■ Easy installation: AirShield detectors and accessories are battery-powered, except for the hub, which requires a 12V DC power supply, enabling a completely wireless installation.
■ Single or Dual SIM flexibility: Choose between a Single SIM (P2) or Dual SIM (P9) poll plan to match the site’s redundancy requirements.
■ Connect to any ANZ monitoring centre: All AirShield alarm and video events are delivered through the Permaconn cloud to any monitoring centre running a Permaconn receiver. No additional infrastructure required at the MC.
■ Stable RF communication: AirShield Hub uses Dahua’s private RF communication protocol, Airfly, to achieve a stable connection, enable two-way communication, and support OTA (Over-The-Air) upgrades with wireless peripherals.
■ Integrated alarm, video and intercom ecosystem: AirShield integrates with Dahua CCTV and Intercom solutions, enabling alarm, video and communication events to be managed within a single ecosystem.
■ Fleet management through Atlas: All Permaconn SIMs and devices are managed centrally through the Permaconn Atlas platform using a familiar Permaconn serial number, consistent with every other Permaconn device in your fleet.
■ Trusted network and local support: Backed by Permaconn's ISO 27001-certified information security framework, 99.99% network uptime SLA and 24/7 Australian-based technical support.
