A leading construction company in Romania specializing in photovoltaic farms developed and manages a 60 MW photovoltaic solar park that required advanced perimeter protection against theft and unauthorized access. Challenges

Monitoring a large perimeter spread over dozens of hectares is difficult to manage manually, as it requires substantial human resources and still results in limited response times. In addition, equipment and infrastructure remain exposed to theft and unauthorized access, creating a risk of significant financial losses. What’s more, conventional CCTV systems also generate frequent false alarms because they cannot reliably differentiate between people, animals, and environmental factors such as rain, wind, or moving vegetation.

• Optimized Operational Efficiency: The integrated Dahua solution also offers License Plate Recognition (NPR), high-capacity storage and networking infrastructure, and video wall display, greatly reducing reliance on human resources, optimizing operational costs, and enhancing the overall safety of the photovoltaic solar park.
