For the Customer who purchases Products from Dahua in UK and Ireland, this Warranty Policy for Dahua UK & Ireland (“Policy”) as described below may apply. This Policy is concluded between businesses; as such, the Policy applies to Customers who have signed agreements with Dahua and this Policy shall not be deemed as a legal warranty to consumers. THIS POLICY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANYTIME AT DAHUA’S SOLE DISCRETION.
“Warranty” means the Customer’s rights in case the product does not maintain its quality after delivery.
If Dahua’s signing entity is incorporated under the laws of the People's Republic of China or the laws of Hong Kong, the People's Republic of China, the warranty period shall commence from the 60th day after the shipping date of the Products. If Dahua’s signing entity is not incorporated under the laws of the People's Republic of China or the laws of Hong Kong, the People's Republic of China, the warranty period shall commence from the 30th day after the shipping date of the Products. The shipping date of the Products shall be determined by the serial numbers of the shipped Products or Dahua’s internal records. If the last valid date of warranty period is a statutory public holiday in the country of Dahua’s signing entity, the first working day after that holiday shall be the last valid day.
For Dahua Wi-Fi products, if an activation record exists, the warranty period starts from the product activation date. Warranty Period shall expire according to the chart below. Warranty Period mentioned herein applies to the Product only, excluding any wearing parts.

On-Premises Software: 36 months (customised software version: 12 months, starting from the date the customisation version is delivered to the customer, including OEM customisation versions).
Products still within the Warranty Period shall be repaired by Dahua at its own expense and costs, subject to the terms and conditions herein. However, the Customer shall pay for shipping – including but not limited to freight, insurance, taxes, and import/export fees – to send the defective product to Dahua. In turn, Dahua shall pay for shipping, including but not limited to freight, insurance, taxes, and import/export fees, to ship the repaired product back to the Customer.
Products that are outside the Warranty Period shall be repaired by Dahua only after (1) the Customer is provided by Dahua with an estimated cost of the repairs of the defective products; and (2) the Customer provides Dahua with written approval to commence the repairs on the defective products. Dahua’s repairs for defective products outside of the warranty period shall be at the cost of the Customer, which may include, but is not limited to, labour cost, components cost, testing cost, and any associated shipping/freight costs. If the Customer does not reply to Dahua within 15 calendar days from the date Dahua notifies the Customer of the estimated repair cost, Dahua shall return the defective product to the Customer freight collect.
During [90] days from the shipping date, if permitted by applicable laws and regulations, once a Product is proven to be not fit for purpose in accordance with the product’s manual, the Customer has the right to have the product repaired or replaced. In the case of replacing the product, the Customer needs to send detailed malfunction information by email (UK: rma.uk@dahuatech.com, ROI: rma.eur@dahuatech.com) to the after-sales staff. Once the information is confirmed, the Customer should mail the defective product to the designated Dahua service location. The after-sales department will replace the product free of charge with the same type/specification product or accessories. If the same type/specification product or accessories have been discontinued, the defective product or accessories will be replaced with a product or accessories whose performance is not lower than the defective ones.
The Customer has the obligation to provide After-Sale Services to its own customers at its own cost, unless mandatory applicable laws and regulations provide otherwise.
Where the Standard After-Sale Services are not fulfilled by Dahua for a specific Product, Dahua may issue an equivalent voucher to the Customer to replace fulfilment of the Standard After-Sale Service for that Product. The voucher amount is equal to the discounted price, excluding tax, of that Product in the latest Order. See Dahua’s official After-Sale Services website for further details: support.dahuasecurity.com/en/ServicePolicy . Vouchers may be used by the Customer to offset future orders, with the voucher amount used for deduction not exceeding 20% of the total amount of one Order. Once issued, a voucher expires within one calendar year of its issue date.
Where any malfunction or damage occurs to the Products for any of the following reasons, Dahua has the right to refuse to repair, or to charge a reasonable cost for materials and labour for the repair, as the case may be:
