                                  Warranty Policy for Dahua UK & Ireland

                                  28/01/2026

                                  For the Customer who purchases Products from Dahua in UK and Ireland, this Warranty Policy for Dahua UK & Ireland (“Policy”) as described below may apply. This Policy is concluded between businesses; as such, the Policy applies to Customers who have signed agreements with Dahua and this Policy shall not be deemed as a legal warranty to consumers. THIS POLICY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANYTIME AT DAHUA’S SOLE DISCRETION.

                                  1. Definition

                                  “Warranty” means the Customer’s rights in case the product does not maintain its quality after delivery.

                                  2. Warranty Period

                                  If Dahua’s signing entity is incorporated under the laws of the People's Republic of China or the laws of Hong Kong, the People's Republic of China, the warranty period shall commence from the 60th day after the shipping date of the Products. If Dahua’s signing entity is not incorporated under the laws of the People's Republic of China or the laws of Hong Kong, the People's Republic of China, the warranty period shall commence from the 30th day after the shipping date of the Products. The shipping date of the Products shall be determined by the serial numbers of the shipped Products or Dahua’s internal records. If the last valid date of warranty period is a statutory public holiday in the country of Dahua’s signing entity, the first working day after that holiday shall be the last valid day.

                                  For Dahua Wi-Fi products, if an activation record exists, the warranty period starts from the product activation date. Warranty Period shall expire according to the chart below. Warranty Period mentioned herein applies to the Product only, excluding any wearing parts.

                                  Intelligent Education / Smart Interactive Whiteboard Intelligent Education IFPD / Intelligent Conference IFPD 60 months (for UK & Ireland only). Wireless screen-sharing dongles, mobile stands and stylus pens have an 18-month warranty.

Note: battery life depends on actual usage and is not covered by the product warranty; malfunctions not caused by the equipment itself are not covered.

                                  Dahua Automotive Technology Auto-Outsourcing / Auto-Camera / Auto-Radar / Auto-Mobile / Auto-OEM / Auto Software 12 months for Outsourcing, Accessory; 36 months for Camera, Radar, Main Device, OEM; 36 months for Auto-Software (customised software version: 12 months)
                                  Drone Drone / Counter-UAV Product 12 months (except Fan, Propeller). Battery: 12 months and charge cycle less than 200 times, whichever comes first.
                                  Internet Null 12 months
                                  Security Inspection AI Security Screening Server (ISC-S series), Security Screening Machine (ISC-M series), Walk-Through Metal Detector (ISC-D series), Handheld Metal Detector (ISC-H series) 24 months; 12 months for the ISC-D1XXL series
                                  Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) System – ISC-EAA series, ISC-EAR series (Antenna), ISC-EDA series, ISC-EDR series (Deactivator) 24 months
                                  Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) System – ISC-ETA series, ISC-ETR series (Tag & Label), ISC-ED series (Detacher) 12 months
                                  Under Vehicle Surveillance Series (DHI-XIS-CXXX), Hydraulic Bollard Series (DHI-ISC-ZXXXX) 12 months

                                  On-Premises Software: 36 months (customised software version: 12 months, starting from the date the customisation version is delivered to the customer, including OEM customisation versions).

                                  1. The standard Warranty Period for consumable parts, such as a mouse, power cord/data cable and support, is 3 months.
                                  2. If the part repaired is less than 3 months from the end of the free Warranty Period at the date of repair, the part’s free warranty service period shall be extended to 3 months after the date of repair; in case of the same fault not caused by human factors, out-of-warranty products that have been repaired shall have a Warranty Period of 6 months.
                                  3. If the Warranty Period is otherwise agreed in the contract signed by the Customer when ordering Products, the contract shall prevail.
                                  4. For after-sales services of products purchased by a Customer who has concluded a separate warranty agreement with Dahua or its affiliates, that warranty agreement shall prevail between Dahua and the concerned Customer.
                                  5. DOA (Defect on Arrival): any DOA claim must be made in writing by the Customer to Dahua within 90 days of Dahua’s shipment date. After Dahua confirms the DOA, Dahua shall replace it with a new product. Note: packing defects are not included.

                                  3. Within Warranty Period

                                  Products still within the Warranty Period shall be repaired by Dahua at its own expense and costs, subject to the terms and conditions herein. However, the Customer shall pay for shipping – including but not limited to freight, insurance, taxes, and import/export fees – to send the defective product to Dahua. In turn, Dahua shall pay for shipping, including but not limited to freight, insurance, taxes, and import/export fees, to ship the repaired product back to the Customer.

                                  4. Outside Warranty Period

                                  Products that are outside the Warranty Period shall be repaired by Dahua only after (1) the Customer is provided by Dahua with an estimated cost of the repairs of the defective products; and (2) the Customer provides Dahua with written approval to commence the repairs on the defective products. Dahua’s repairs for defective products outside of the warranty period shall be at the cost of the Customer, which may include, but is not limited to, labour cost, components cost, testing cost, and any associated shipping/freight costs. If the Customer does not reply to Dahua within 15 calendar days from the date Dahua notifies the Customer of the estimated repair cost, Dahua shall return the defective product to the Customer freight collect.

                                  5. Exchange Period

                                  During [90] days from the shipping date, if permitted by applicable laws and regulations, once a Product is proven to be not fit for purpose in accordance with the product’s manual, the Customer has the right to have the product repaired or replaced. In the case of replacing the product, the Customer needs to send detailed malfunction information by email (UK: rma.uk@dahuatech.com, ROI: rma.eur@dahuatech.com) to the after-sales staff. Once the information is confirmed, the Customer should mail the defective product to the designated Dahua service location. The after-sales department will replace the product free of charge with the same type/specification product or accessories. If the same type/specification product or accessories have been discontinued, the defective product or accessories will be replaced with a product or accessories whose performance is not lower than the defective ones.

                                  The Customer has the obligation to provide After-Sale Services to its own customers at its own cost, unless mandatory applicable laws and regulations provide otherwise.

                                  6. Standard Service Failure

                                  Where the Standard After-Sale Services are not fulfilled by Dahua for a specific Product, Dahua may issue an equivalent voucher to the Customer to replace fulfilment of the Standard After-Sale Service for that Product. The voucher amount is equal to the discounted price, excluding tax, of that Product in the latest Order. See Dahua’s official After-Sale Services website for further details: support.dahuasecurity.com/en/ServicePolicy . Vouchers may be used by the Customer to offset future orders, with the voucher amount used for deduction not exceeding 20% of the total amount of one Order. Once issued, a voucher expires within one calendar year of its issue date.

                                  7. Exemptions

                                  Where any malfunction or damage occurs to the Products for any of the following reasons, Dahua has the right to refuse to repair, or to charge a reasonable cost for materials and labour for the repair, as the case may be:

                                  1. Damage to Dahua’s Products caused by force majeure events (natural disasters, fires, wars, etc.).
                                  2. Normal fading, wear and consumption during the Products’ use that does not affect their uninterrupted and proper functioning.
                                  3. The Product fails to function properly due to the use of pirated, non-standard, self-developed or third-party unpublished software; or licensed software is modified by anyone other than Dahua without Dahua’s permission, or used beyond the scope and limitations of the licence agreement.
                                  4. Software system service failures and interruptions caused by adjustments to the Customer’s local policies or maintenance by the network service provider.
                                  5. Dahua does not warrant that the Software will run uninterrupted or error-free, or that all errors will be corrected.
                                  6. Damage to the system caused by the Customer’s infrastructure (falls, crushing, high temperatures, corrosion, foreign object ingress, poor electrical environments), or damage from on-site operating conditions (e.g. humidity) or external factors (e.g. electromagnetic interference, faults in interconnected devices) that fail to meet the documented environmental requirements for normal operation of the Products.
                                  7. Damage caused by the intentional or negligent failure of the Customer or a third party to use, maintain or store the Product as required; unauthorised relocation or re-installation of the system without Dahua’s approval; unauthorised adjustment, modification or deletion of identification marks resulting in damage, or deliberate sabotage leading to large-scale hardware or data damage to Dahua’s Products, including resulting software malfunctions.
                                  8. Software system service failures and interruptions caused by the Customer’s own local policy adjustments or ISP maintenance.
                                  9. The Product model or number on the certificate does not match the actual product; unauthorised alteration or marking of the device surface or hard drive without Dahua’s approval; absence of manufacturer name, address, production date, product serial number, product certification or warranty card; or the product serial number and labels are illegible, damaged or unidentifiable.
                                  10. The warranty period has expired according to this warranty policy or the contract signed with the Customer.
                                  11. Discounted Products, demonstration Products (samples), and free gifts are not covered by this warranty policy. In such cases, the warranty period should be specified in a contract agreed by both parties.
