Wireless Bridge

Dahua's WBC5 series bridge is an innovative network device designed to provide an efficient and convenient solution for end device's deployment and maintenance. Compared to traditional bridges, the WBC5 series bridge offers many advantages (see below) that effectively solve several issues in traditional application scenarios, significantly improving the bridge’s turn-up and deployment efficiency and making it an ideal choice for enterprise networks.

• Wireless Management: The 2.4GHz wireless management technology achieves fast wireless management connection that is compatible with a wide range of management devices and product types. It effectively reduces the risk of network threats and attacks thanks to the mutual segregation of the management band and the service band.


• PoE Input & Output: With the standard 802.3AT(30W in)/AF(15W out) PoE In and Out feature, the wireless bridge can be enabled directly by any PoE switch and carry out both the final data access and power supply functions, all in one cable. It minimizes the need for extra adapters and cables and brings great convenience in deployment and operation, making it suitable for various application scenarios such as rural areas, mining, construction, and energy.

WEB 5.0

WEB 5.0, Dahua’s latest web client, is optimized and upgraded in terms of user experience, function configuration process, and performance requirements of configuration tools. It reduces configuration time and provides assurance to customers during commissioning and delivery, enabling projects to be completed and implemented easily, efficiently and quickly. Here are some of WEB 5.0 advantages:

• Brand New UI: It adopts a dark blue technology design, with its homepage arranged similar to a PC desktop. Functions are also arranged based on usage frequency for quick and easier access.


• Guided Configuration: The configuration of AI functions is carried out step-by-step, reducing configuration learning cost. For PTZ, two models (Global and Preset) are provided and configuration of the scan plan is also available if needed. For IPC, it allows setting of rules according to different scenarios to make configuration easier and simpler. For ITC, a detailed guide is provided through the wizard configuration that includes basic configuration process.


• Scenario-based Configuration: It offers 3 Live Modes. The General Mode lets users view the real-time video and adjust accordingly the pan and tilt angle (only available in PTZ cameras) and optical zoom. In Face View Mode, users can get results that include real-time information and data history of the Intelligent Detection or Intelligent Recognition functions. Lastly, the Video Metadata Mode recognizes attributes of vehicle, non-motor vehicle and human targets on the scene, including vehicle color, number of people, hat, bag, etc. What’s more, WEB 5.0 also offers configurations for the camera (image attributes, audio/video coding) and security (status scanning, system service, defense against attacks, etc.) as well.


• Simplified Configuration: In WEB 5.0, the rule lines for ITC and IPC IVS are drawn by default. Users only need to adjust the rule lines according to different on-site conditions. It helps prevent the hassle of creating multiple rule lines and brings great convenience to the equipment debugging process.


• No Plug-in: Unlike the previous versions, most functions are configured without plug-ins in WEB 5.0, providing more convenient configuration and compatibility with more browsers.

Easy Image Configuration

After installation, traditional cameras often involve complicated image configuration that requires accurate knowledge of specific technical terms, leading to low installation efficiency and incurring high labor costs. Dahua’s Easy Image Configuration technologies (listed below) enable efficient and quick response to scenario changes in terms of brightness, weather, and other scenario-based factors. They eliminate the need for manual configuration and offer high efficiency and cost-saving solution, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor application scenarios.

• IPC AI SSA: The Dahua AI SSA (Scene Self-adaption) technology is powered by deep learning algorithms that can intelligently identify multiple elements in the scene (e.g. rain, snow, fog, etc.) and adjust parameters accordingly to achieve optimal images.


• PTZ Auto Image Adjustment: Equipped with Dahua Image Auto Adjustment algorithm, the chip in the camera automatically optimizes the image based on its environment. It brightens the image where it is too dark and darkens the part where it is too exposed. It effectively solves common image problems and automatically adapts to the environment of the scene.


• HDCVI Super Adapt: Based on pixel ratio of bright/dark areas, HDCVI cameras with Super Adapt technology can recognize whether the monitoring scene is indoor, outdoor, or under wide dynamic range, and automatically adjust the image settings to match the actual scene. This technology provides excellent image performance and saves camera debugging costs.

This free professional online design tool provides support for comprehensive product selection and configuration of various Dahua products, and outputs various reports tailored for diverse user requirements.
