As part of the global movement, the company joined the annual lights-off initiative, reaffirming its long-term commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development.

Wilson Wang, General Manager of Dahua Technology HK & Macau, receives the Smart Technology
Partner Certificate from Nicole Wong, CEO of WWF-Hong Kong
The certificate of appreciation was presented to Wilson Wang, General Manager of Dahua Technology HK & Macau, by Nicole Wong, CEO of WWF-Hong Kong, recognizing Dahua’s ongoing support and innovative approach to nature conservation. Inviting everyone to switch off their lights for an hour, the ceremony brought together environmental leaders and major corporations to discuss practical ways for businesses to contribute to environmental sustainability.
Earlier this year, WWF-Hong Kong held a joint ceremony to celebrate and recognize companies contributing to its signature sustainable business initiatives. The event honored businesses for their commitment to promoting sustainable business practices, corporate social responsibility, and environmental conservation. Dahua was among more than 70 companies to receive collective recognition, while also engaging with peers to exchange insights and best practices on sustainable business development and environmental responsibility.
In addition, the Dahua Hong Kong team organized an eco-tour to the Mai Po Nature Reserve, where participants gained first-hand insights into wetland ecosystems and conservation practices. The visit also provided an opportunity to explore how Dahua’s solar-powered devices and AIoT technologies can better support long-term wetland conservation, enhance ecological monitoring, and inform sustainable management strategies for vulnerable natural habitats.
“Earth Hour represents more than a symbolic moment of turning off the lights—it is a global call to action that aligns with our long-term vision for sustainability,” said Wilson Wang, General Manager of Dahua Technology HK & Macau. “We have participated in Earth Hour for several consecutive years, and we remain committed to working with partners like WWF to explore practical ways to support environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and create a positive impact.”
In recent years, Dahua has continued to advance its sustainability practices across different regions, with ongoing efforts in biodiversity protection, ecosystem conservation, and low-carbon development, in line with its mission of “Enabling a smarter society and better living”.
Looking ahead, Dahua will continue to integrate environmentally responsible practices into its operations and work with global partners to contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.
