Pioneer Fusion, Smarter Vision: Dahua Releases HDCVI X Fusion
June 17, 2026 / Hangzhou, China. Dahua Technology, a world-leading video-centric AIoT solution and service provider, proudly introduces HDCVI X Fusion , the latest advancement in its HD-over-Coax portfolio. Built on Dahua’s HDCVI technology, which supports video, audio, data, and power transmission over a single coaxial cable, HDCVI X Fusion brings together four key highlights: WizColor, PT, Two-way Talk, and Enhanced Encoding. Together, these innovations help users achieve clearer imaging, wider coverage, real-time communication, and more efficient storage while supporting seamless upgrades for existing coaxial systems.
WizColor: Clearer Vision and Smarter Audio
WizColor is designed to enhance image quality in low-light environments through AI-ISP technology, large-aperture lenses, and intelligent image processing. Compared with general cameras, WizColor improves detail restoration by 50% and color restoration by 30%, while pixel-level denoising helps deliver clearer and more natural images at night. Selected models also support Lens Distortion Correction, helping reduce image distortion and improve visual accuracy.
Beyond image performance, WizColor also strengthens audio quality. With Dahua’s self-developed audio noise reduction algorithm, the camera can reduce background noise and improve sound pickup. Some models support dual-mic technology with up to 12 meters of pickup distance, enabling users to capture clearer and richer audio information for more complete video surveillance.
PT: Wider Coverage with Flexible Monitoring
PT Cameras expand monitoring flexibility through Pan-Tilt camera designs that cover wider areas with fewer devices. According to the product materials, one PT MultiVision camera can replace at least two conventional cameras, helping reduce purchase and installation costs while maintaining broader scene coverage. PT cameras also support remote control through the OSD menu, XVR, or DMSS app, allowing users to adjust viewing angles conveniently from different platforms.
HDCVI X Fusion further enhances PT applications through multiple lens combinations. Features such as 6x Hybrid Zoom, Linkage Tracking, Tap & See, and Dual-lens Stitching help users monitor both wide-area scenes and important details. The Pano Eyes model, for example, supports a 180° panoramic view and works with XVR EPTZ functions to zoom in and track human or vehicle targets that trigger alarms.
Two-way Talk: Real-time Communication Over Coax
Two-way Talk addresses the limitations of traditional video-only surveillance by enabling real-time communication between users and the monitored site. Through audio and video transmission, users can remotely inspect scenes, provide timely instructions, and issue warnings when needed. This is especially useful for entrances, shops, warehouses, residential areas, and other scenarios that require immediate interaction.
The solution also improves communication quality through AI Noise Reduction, Echo Cancellation, and Automatic Gain Control. These technologies help reduce environmental noise, suppress echo, and stabilize volume during conversations. In addition, two-way talk audio can be recorded alongside the corresponding video channel, making it easier to review complete event details. XVR voice broadcast also allows warning messages to be sent to multiple cameras simultaneously for deterrence purposes.
Enhanced Encoding: Smarter Storage and Better Efficiency
Enhanced Encoding brings smarter compression to HDCVI systems through Super AI Coding and Device AI Coding. Super AI Coding uses Average Bit Rate technology to allocate bitrate according to dynamic and static scene changes, reducing storage use by 50% compared with H.265 while maintaining the image quality of critical targets.
Device AI Coding further optimizes encoding across multiple channels through Device Bit Rate and Auto Optimized Frame technologies. It can reduce bitrate or frame rate for static channels and allocate more resources to dynamic channels, helping deliver clearer and smoother video where activity is detected. Dahua’s laboratory test data shows that Device AI Coding can provide up to 90% storage savings compared with H.265, depending on the scenario and encoding mode.
Advancing HD-over-Coax for Smarter Security
With WizColor, PT, Two-way Talk, and Enhanced Encoding, Dahua HDCVI X Fusion strengthens the value of HD-over-Coax systems by combining clearer imaging, wider monitoring coverage, interactive communication, and intelligent storage optimization. As an evolution of Dahua’s HDCVI technology, it supports users who want to upgrade existing coaxial infrastructure while gaining smarter, more efficient, and more practical security capabilities. Guided by “Pioneer Fusion, Smarter Vision” principle, HDCVI X Fusion reflects Dahua’s continued commitment to enabling a safer society and smarter living.
