Dahua Iberia Drives Reforestation Efforts in Madrid Following 2025 Wildfires
Following the severe wildfires that affected several areas in the north of the
Community of Madrid during the summer of 2025, Dahua Iberia has launched a
reforestation initiative in collaboration with the environmental organization
Reforesta, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability, environmental
protection, and social responsibility.
The activity took place in the Vereda de las Tapias de Viñuelas y El Pardo
(Tres Cantos) area, one of the regions heavily impacted by fires this year.
Through this initiative, Dahua Iberia aims to actively contribute to the
ecological recovery of the affected landscape while promoting environmental
awareness among its team and partners.

Shared Commitment to Sustainability
Reforesta is a non-profit environmental organization with more than 30 years of
experience in forest restoration and environmental education in Spain.
Recognized as an entity of public interest, Reforesta works closely with public
institutions, companies, and volunteers to restore degraded ecosystems and
promote long-term environment supervision.
As part of this collaboration, a group of Dahua Iberia employees participated
in a hands-on reforestation day, planting young trees and shrubs under the
guidance of Reforesta’s environmental experts. The initiative includes not only
the planting activity itself, but also post-planting maintenance to ensure the
long-term survival of the vegetation.
Protecting
the Environment through Technology
In line with Dahua’s ESG commitment
that includes “digital intelligence empowerment and low-carbon future”,
the initiative also featured an on-site demonstration of a Dahua 4G
solar-powered camera, highlighting how technology can support environmental
monitoring and sustainable development. The solution operates independently of
the power grid and symbolizes how intelligent technology can be applied beyond
its traditional security usage, contributing to the protection of natural
environments.
Visual content from the reforestation activity and the technology deployment were
later showcased during the DAHUA INFINITY 2025, Dahua Iberia’s annual flagship
event, as part of a broader narrative that connects innovation, sustainability,
and human values.
