Dahua Technology unveiled AI-powered solutions tailored to the renewable energy industry at Intersolar Europe 2026, highlighting intelligent applications for security, inspection, worker safety, EV charging, and centralized energy site management.

June 25, 2026 / Munich, Germany. At this year’s Intersolar Europe 2026, Dahua Technology showcased five key solution areas: intelligent security, equipment inspection, HSE-PPE, EV charging, and smart control center solutions, demonstrating how AI can help address common operational challenges across diverse renewable energy scenarios.

For intelligent security, Dahua highlighted perimeter protection solutions for photovoltaic plants and energy facilities, including thermal perimeter protection, radar-camera linkage, triple-lens monitoring, and solar-powered wireless security for off-grid sites. Its thermal solution uses Dahua’s Xinghan Large Model algorithms to extend detection range by 85% while reducing pixel requirements. In one photovoltaic project in Brazil, Dahua helped reduce more than 1,000 daily false alarms from 204 devices to about one false alarm per device per week. In Romania, its AI perimeter and dual-spectrum cameras secured a 60 MW solar park.

The equipment inspection solution focused on substations and other widely distributed power assets that are difficult to maintain manually. Dahua’s system monitors the temperature and operating status of key equipment, such as transformers and disconnectors, during routine inspections. It also generates inspection reports to support predictive maintenance and improve operational efficiency.

For HSE-PPE, Dahua demonstrated fixed and portable safety compliance detection solutions. These systems check whether workers entering high-voltage areas are wearing required protective equipment, including helmets and safety vests, and report irregularities in real time to help reduce on-site safety risks.

Dahua also presented its EV charger portfolio, covering AC chargers for residential use and DC chargers for commercial applications. Supported by a cloud management platform and mobile app, the solutions allow users to monitor charging status, configure time-based charging schedules, and manage charging operations more flexibly.

The smart control center brought these applications together through Dahua’s DSS Pro platform. It supports remote video preview, alarm handling, inspection task scheduling, and data history inquiry, providing operators with a centralized view of site security and maintenance activities. In Italy, Dahua’s thermal perimeter solution and DSS management software enabled centralized monitoring across remote solar sites, later expanding to 80 sites with around 1,600 thermal cameras.

Overall, Dahua’s participation in Intersolar Europe 2026 helped position visible AI as a practical approach to enhancing renewable energy site protection, worker safety, equipment reliability, and integrated management.
