Dahua Singapore Cross-Cultural Connections & Halloween Fun 2025
On Friday, October 24, 2025, the Dahua Singapore team successfully organized the “Singapore Cross-Cultural Meeting”, a warm and inspiring event held under the theme “Understanding and Respecting Cultural Differences.” The session aimed to deepen cultural awareness and foster effective collaboration within a diverse organization, bringing together employees from different nationalities and backgrounds.
The afternoon meeting was graced by Mr. Strong (Country President), Ms. Claire (Regional HR) together with key representatives from the Singapore office. The atmosphere was lively andfilled with insightful discussions, open sharing, and positive energy throughout.
The event began with the official launch of the Singapore Cross-Cultural Handbook (Final Edition) — a collaborative effort by the Singapore team. The handbook features key sections such as General Overview, Social & Cultural Aspects of Singapore etc., providing readers with a comprehensive understanding of the country’s cultural landscape. The presentation, led by Ms. Miki, also included interactive sharing about cultural differences experienced in daily life — such as the use of Singlish, Singapore’s well-organized appointment systems, and the beauty of its multicultural integration.
Following the presentation, Mr. Strong delivered an inspiring speech
titled “Our Values in Action – What We Stand For.” He highlighted the
company’s core values and emphasized the importance of working together to
build a supportive, inclusive, and success-driven culture. Ms. Claire further
elaborated on the essence of organizational culture across various aspects —
from Customer Success and Employee Achievements to the guiding principles of
Dahua’s 7 Orientations, which serve as the foundation for excellence and
growth.
Next, Mr. Max, representing the Singapore team, shared his enriching experience from attending the “Dahua Global Dream Gathering: A Cross-Cultural Journey.” He reflected on the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with colleagues from around the world, gaining deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and teamwork. He noted that the experience not only expanded his global perspective but also helped in strengthening bonds across borders, fostering understanding and unity on an international scale.
To conclude the day, in celebration of the upcoming Halloween season, the Singapore team hosted an exciting Escape Room Challenge with two thrilling themes — “Back to School” and “The Morgue.” The activity combined fun, challenge, and teamwork, encouraging participants to communicate effectively, think critically, and solve problems together under pressure. The laughter, teamwork, and positive spirit throughout the event created lasting memories and strengthened team connections.
This cross-cultural gathering was not only a platform for learning and cultural appreciation but also a meaningful opportunity to build stronger relationships among colleagues. It served as a reminder that diversity is one of Dahua Singapore’s greatest strengths — a driving force that transforms differences into unity, understanding, and collective success for the future.
